Health guarantee
Every puppy leaves with a written guarantee. Here is exactly what it says.
What every puppy comes with
- Veterinary health certificate issued within seven days of handover
- ISO microchip and registration paperwork
- Vaccination and deworming record appropriate to age
- Written guarantee, signed, with the puppy’s reference number on it
The 72-hour check
Take your puppy to a vet of your choosing within 72 hours of collection. If that vet identifies an existing illness or defect, tell us the same day with the written report and we will refund in full or replace the puppy from a future litter, whichever you prefer.
Congenital conditions: 24 months
If a licensed vet diagnoses a life-limiting congenital or hereditary condition within 24 months, we refund the purchase price or replace the puppy. We ask for the diagnostic report and, where relevant, a second opinion that we pay for. You keep the dog either way — we do not ask anyone to return a pet they have lived with.
What is not covered
Conditions caused by injury, neglect, poor diet, missed vaccinations, parasites acquired after handover, or heat-related illness. Minor and treatable issues such as an ear infection, kennel cough or a mild hernia are not grounds for a refund, though we will help with the vet cost in the first fortnight.
What we ask of you
- Keep vaccinations current and see a vet at least annually
- Feed a complete diet suitable for the breed and life stage
- Follow the summer guidance for your breed — heatstroke is preventable
- Contact us before rehoming, always
The signed document you receive at collection is the governing version of this guarantee.
