Huskies are beautiful, funny, non-aggressive dogs with two traits that surprise new owners: they were bred to run for hours, and they were bred to make their own decisions. Recall is unreliable in most Huskies for their whole lives, and escape attempts are common.
We place Huskies in the UAE only with owners who have a genuine plan for the summer - villa with reliable cooling, night exercise, and no expectation of a dog that lounges quietly all day. It is the breed we most often talk people out of, and the one that thrives most when the match is right.
Care essentials
- Secure high fencing and a locked gate - they climb, dig and bolt.
- Brush out the undercoat weekly, twice daily during the blow-out, and never shave the coat.
